Terms of Use

These terms apply when you access or play Needle in a Haystack.

The game

The game provides a browser-based entertainment experience. Your first completed haystack is free. After that, the game may offer a one-time Unlimited Runs purchase.

Unlimited Runs purchase

Unlimited Runs is currently a one-time purchase priced at the amount shown at checkout. It unlocks additional new haystacks for the browser installation that completed the purchase. There is no recurring subscription.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information and not to misuse, reverse engineer, attack, automate abuse of, or fraudulently bypass the payment or entitlement systems.

License and acceptable use

You may use the game for personal entertainment. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, exploit, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the game or its payment systems except where applicable law specifically permits otherwise.

Availability and saved data

We aim to keep the game available and saved progress reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Browser storage can be deleted by the user, browser, device, or operating system. Keep this limitation in mind before resetting browser data.

Refunds

Refund requests are governed by the Refund Policy and any rights that cannot legally be waived in your location.

Game balance and changes

We may update gameplay, balance, visual design, tools, progression, pricing for future purchases, or technical systems. A completed Unlimited Runs purchase will not be converted into a recurring subscription.

Disclaimer

The game is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
